Based off of the dual sponge filters with housing space for bacterial balls, QANVEE electric sponge filter is an upgraded version of the older style air driven QANVEE dual sponge filters.
This upgraded filter, is meant to be used in smaller nano tanks (15 gallon and under) in place of your air filter or as an add on to your air filtering system.
This allows for a larger water turnover rate with the added benefit of an air port that can oxygenate your tank while also providing optimal turn over rate.
You can change out the filter media in the bottom housing unit. It is preferred to use either Seachem Matrix or Netlea Biological media to maximize your biological filtration ability.
