In the enchanting forest of Elderwood, a unique owl named Orin resides under a canopy of twinkling stars. Unlike his fellow owls, Orin has lost the ability to fly and prefers to walk among the trees. The other creatures murmur about him, labeling him as a dreamer or broken, yet Orin feels an unshakeable sense that he is meant for something greater. Unbeknownst to him, he was once the revered Guardian of the Night Winds, entrusted with guiding dreams through the night sky. However, after a strange storm known as the Stillfall swept through Elderwood, he lost both his memories and his courage to soar. Meanwhile, in Thimblewick—a nearby town—seven children experience a peculiar connection through shared dreams featuring an owl on a silver branch beneath a fractured moon. Each child brings their own distinct personality: Lila, adventurous despite her arm cast; Theo, filled with worries and “what-ifs”; Jasmine, who listens but never speaks; Ollie, who may be late but always finds his way; Mina, skeptical of magic yet fascinated by science; Ezra, whose laughter is infectious; and Sadie, who carries deep sorrow for her grandfather. Drawn together by fireflies and their dreams one fateful evening in Whispering Glade, they encounter Orin perched on a rock. As they share their aspirations with him, something within Orin begins to awaken. Realizing that both he and the night are losing their connection to dreams, they form a pact to help restore Orin’s memory and uncover what transpired during the Stillfall. Their adventure leads them through wondrous realms like the Featherlight Archives and the Tunnel of Echoes.
